About the author:

 

Rev. Dr. Robert L. Warner, teacher, counselor, principal, superintendent and pastor, holds degrees from The Ohio State University, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and United Theological Seminary, Dayton Ohio. He was a teacher in Marion and Columbus, Director of Guidance, Blanchester; Superintendent in Bettsville and Jackson Center; and Coordinator of Personnel, Montgomery County Board of Education, Dayton, Ohio.

He was ordained in the United Methodist Church and served in New Lebanon and in Xenia. He is the father of three daughters. After retirement he developed an interest in genealogy and gathered information about the roots of his family to tell this story about the accomplishments of his parents, aunts and uncles.
