Vernon School - On the back of this photo is a note written in ballpoint pen: Homer Dearth at Vernon.    Frances H. Stoner believed this was the Vernon School located near Calais.  She attended grades 1 and 2 there from 1931-1933.  She thinks that 1934 was the last year the school was open.  Helma Stephen Christmas was the teacher. 

This photo was donated by Frances H. Stoner in 1994 It came from the estate of Lucille Tuttle Holmes. Please provide any additional information about this picture to the webmaster, Dick Harrington
