STORIES
OF MONROE COUNTY
(You can
search any file or page on this web site by following the steps found by
clicking on Search.)
Every county has its collection of stories. But, Monroe County,
Ohio probably has more than its
share. All are interesting and many, if not most, are untold. We have tried to
capture a few of them to provide the reader with some flavor of the County at
various periods of its history. Stories are about people, mostly, and the
people in this collection were frequently the people who shaped and gave Monroe County
its personality.
