Longden was born Feb. 8, 1928, in Woodsfield to Adolph and Emma Morris. She had been a resident of

1944, Mrs. Longden married Clyde Longden, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Carol
Searls and Brenda Longden, both of Ashland; two sons and a daughter-in-law,
Jerry Longden and Eddie and Debbie Longden, all of Ashland; 13 grandchildren;
numerous great-grandchildren and two sisters, Kathryn Piatt of Ashland and
Nettie Brown of Woodsfield.
Mrs.
Longden was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers.
A
service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2007, at Heyl Funeral Home

Edinburg -- Edwin F. Riggenbach, 93, of Edinburg died
Monday at Longmeadow Care Center.
Born March 25, 1914, in Sardis, Ohio, a son of the late
Frank and Mary Belle (nee Shaw) Riggenbach, Edwin was a member of the Edinburg
United Church. He was employed at the Ravenna Lumber Co. until his retirement
at age 62. Mr. Riggenbach was also a part-time carpenter and farmed 80 acres in
Palmyra Township where he resided with his family.
Mr. Riggenbach was preceded in death by his wife Mable
Turner Riggenbach, to whom he was married 35 years, in December 1972; also
preceded by his daughter Patricia Ann and his second wife, Ruth (Burt)
Riggenbach in 2004.
Survivors include his children: Eddie (Mary) Riggenbach of
Edinburg, Randy Riggenbach of Reno, Nev., Bonnie (Bob Holmes) Riggenbach of
Rapid City, S.D., and Linda (Richard) Robb of Berlin Center; a brother: Oscar
Riggenbach; a sister: Irene Siska; and five grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the
Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, where funeral services

Akron, passed away December 8, 2007 at her residence.
She was born July 4, 1926 in
Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Urban and Eloise Crum and resided in Akron for
over 50 years. Arlene was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ in Akron
and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition
to her parents; she was preceded in death by her sister, Bernadine Burkhart.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John Christman of Akron; daughter,
Donna Kinser (Harry) of Opelika, Ala.; son, Nelson Christman (Linda) of
