BARNHART SCHOOL SITE
Barnhart School - 2002
The Barnhart School site is located about three
and one-half miles north of Lewisville on the old Miltonsburg Road (presently
known as the Lewisville-Northern Road or County Road 18) in the Middle Church
community. The school no longer exists.
It was described as a frame, one-room structure with a slate roof
. It is not known when the building was
removed but it was gone by 1950. The 4-H Club converted the site into a
miniature park. This photo was taken
December 28, 2002.
