There are several tombstones on the surface but cannot be read. We are sure that there are more graves and markers here. There was a Zonker schoolhouse next to the cemetery. The parents decided to turn over the tombstones so that the children would not get hurt playing there. This information is from a cousin of Chuck Zonker s father who attended school there.
