Thomas Leroy Latta (1866- 1925) and his wife, Mary Adelia (Burris) Latta (1873-1950) were both teachers in the Monroe County, Ohio, School system. Above is Tom's school souvenir from Seneca Township, Monroe County, Ohio, for the school year 1899-1900. Several of his school souvenir books from varying years, also showing the students' names, can be seen in the School Section of this web site. His spiral-ring lesson plan book plus pictures of the class in 1894 are among his effects.
