Cemetery in Lewisville, Ohio
The St. Peter s Evangelical Church (which has been
converted to a business establishment) is located in Lewisville, Ohio near the
intersection of Main Street and Ohio Route # 145. The cemetery lies behind the church extending to a pond and a
pond drainage ditch. There are two separate sections to this cemetery. Immediately behind the church is an older cemetery in which the burial dates
range from the early 1800s to the late 1800s.
Farther behind the church is a newer cemetery in which the earliest
burial date found is 1882 and the latest burial date found is 1966. The two sections
of the cemetery are physically separated by the an alley, now covered by grass,
that likely was used as access to both cemeteries by funeral vehicles. The data below are for the newer cemetery.
