VERNON SCHAUB FAMILY

The Schaub family has an annual family picnic around the July 4th holiday. In 2016 it was held at the beautiful horse farm of my 2nd cousins, David and Bonnie Schaub, in Clinton, Ohio. Both my husband, Don, and I enjoyed our visit, wished we had more time.

This was the first time I had seen all my Schaub cousins together since we were teenagers and got to meet their beautiful families. Growing up, we saw each other fairly often at various family events. My dad, Vernon John Latta, was the best man for their father, Junior (Wesley) Schaub. They were cousins, but best friends too. Junior's son Vernon, above, was named after my dad.
