* Although he was always referred to as Wes, his school listings and other documents refer to him as Weber Wesley. The old Bible lists it as Weber Wesley Schaub. Junior (his son) said his father always signed his name as Wesley W. Schaub. However, it was very common for many German families to go by their middle names.
