Signatures on the Clock Shed

Over the years, guests have left evidence of their visits in the form of signatures on the outside of the clock shed. Above are 4 such signatures with dates of their visit or possibly their dates of birth. The names of Earl A. Shenker, Clesson Dougherty, Salen Dougherty, and Roy McPugh signed March 30, 1917. C.A. Parks signed Oct. 3, 1917 and left an address of Graysville, Ohio. Three other visitors left the names Foster Gallagher A.D. 1903, Clyde Hower A.D. 1902, and Leland Matz A.D. 1901. These were likely dates of birth for the three since the clock was not installed until 1908. Countless birds also left their signatures.
