Janedith Ellen Latta

(1913 - 2006)

My favorite time in the summers was the week I got to stay with Aunt Jan and Grandma Latta. During those years Aunt Jan did most of the cooking and work necessary to run the Latta household there on Broad Avenue in Canton, Ohio.

Aunt Jan (and Grandma) always played with me -- so, so many games of monopoly! and other board and card games. She was a second mother to me. We went shopping looking for clothes for me to wear to the Army-Navy game. Later, when she resided in Altercare, we played dominoes. She was always so glad to see us. What a blessing she was to our family.
