Johannes (John) and Caroline Lallatin Bible Inscription

The following information was written in the family Bible of Johannes and Caroline Lallatin (Lallathin).   This is the English translation of the transcript.   The family bible now belongs to their great, great, great granddaughter Amber Tustin.

John Lallathin of Balyholz, born February 28, 1817 -- Caroline Fredricka Nething of Beuren, born, July 1, 1823            

From Canton of Nurbingen, Kingdom of Wurtemburg (Germany).  We were married on Septmeber 13, 1844.  came to this country March 15, 1847.  Came to Baresville, (Hannibal), in Monroe County, Ohio where we soon joined the Methodist Church and were members for many years.  In 1867 we moved from there to Lee Township, and in 1887 in the West Union Christian Church, under Brother Hartins, where we received the Holy Baptism to a new life.  May the Lord keep us in his grace till the end.  Amen.
