Homer Theodore
Weber and Leora Viola Young married October 5, 1927. This, their wedding picture, would most likely have been taken on
that date. Homer had turned 24 years
old three weeks earlier. Leora would
turn 19 years old two months later.
Since Leora was not yet of age to apply for a marriage license without
an adult s consent, her older sister, Audra Lavada Young who was then only 20
years old and Audra s boyfriend and husband to-be the following year who was
then 23 years old, signed for Leora s application for a marriage license.
