BioSketch of Emeline (Emma) Stephen

born, 20 Feb 1877 died, 9 Dec 1894

Emma was deaf and mute. Emma made a beaded collar that is still in the family. She attended a special school in Columbus, Ohio.  When the school caught fire, she suffered a spinal injury.   She died in her teens.
