William D. Ackerman, 75, of Graysville, Ohio (formerly of Lorain,
Ohio) passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at his home.
He was born at Sandusky, Ohio on May 18, 1949 a son of the
late John Jacob Ackerman and Isabella Rocher
Ackerman.
He was a retired production worker for the Ford Motor Co.,
Lorain, Ohio.
William was
an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two
brothers, Jack and Don Ackerman.
Surviving are three sons, William Ackerman Jr. of Norwalk,
Ohio, Stacey Ackerman of the home, Patrick Ackerman of Elyria, Oho; five
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or service.
Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Sharon
Elaine Bierie Agriesti,
born on May 21, 1945, in Ashland, Ohio, peacefully went to be with the Lord at
9:27 a.m. on January 26, 2025, at the age of 79. Sharon left this world
surrounded by her family, pastor, and the dedicated staff of OSU Ross Heart
Hospital, who cared for her so lovingly. The lovely Sharon was the most
wonderful person who had ever lived in Columbus, Ohio. Sharon spent most of her
youth on a farm in Beallsville, Ohio, where one of her chores involved bringing
cows to the barn for milking. She graduated from Beallsville High School in
1963. Sharon saw early success as the owner and manager of Hill’s Dairy Cream
in Orient, Ohio. After moving to Columbus, Sharon spent much of her
professional career at The Ohio State University Hospitals and the College of
Medicine. After retiring from the university, she became a popcorn enthusiast
at Al’s Delicious Popcorn, where she made a name for herself for her warmth and
personality. Sharon devoted 57 years to serving at Calvary Apostolic Church in
Westerville, Ohio. For the last several years, she has hosted a New Year’s Eve
dinner for the church’s widowed ladies. Sharon was outgoing, gave openly to
others, and brought the best Texas sheet cake and cheesy potatoes to church
functions. Her loving kindness towards everyone made her a true example of a
godly woman. After raising two loving children, Sharon later married the love
of her life on 23 November 1991. Sharon was preceded in death by her adoptive
parents, Anna Mae Pool Bierie and Paul Edward Bierie, and her brother, Walter Kemp. Sharon is survived by
her sister, Kay (John) Curtis, and sister-in-law Sally Kemp; her loving
husband, David Agriesti; her son, Scott (Cara)
Ferguson and daughter, Robin (Michael) Banyasz; her
grandchildren Brooke, Elijah (Ashley), Michael, Matt, and great-grandson
Elisha. Another great-grandson is expected in May.
Visitation
will be on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday, February 1,
2025, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Calvary Apostolic Church, 2551 West Schrock Road,
Westerville, OH 43081. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. James A. Stark,
will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Interment will
immediately follow at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 West Broad Street, Galloway, OH

Willis Gale Anderson 83 of Belpre, Ohio formerly of
Graysville, Ohio passed away Thursday January 2, 2025 at Arbors of
Marietta. He was born in Graysville
December 21, 1941 a son of the late Cars and Myra Morris Anderson.
He was a 1959 graduate of Skyvue
High School. Willis retired from Ormet Aluminum Corp Hannibal, Ohio with 38 years of service
and was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ Graysville, Ohio, and
former member of the Graysville Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two
sisters; Rosalie and her husband Ray Coss Jr., and
Ruth and her husband Fred Woodyard.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Betty Ann Hall Anderson
of Belpre who he married Oct. 5, 1963, two children; Eric G. (Elizabeth)
Anderson of South Carolina, and Stacy R. (Jerry) Bradford of Marietta, Ohio,
grandchildren Ema (Coty) Kelly and Ana (Sam) Anderson
both of Georgia, and Isaac Anderson of Maryland, Shallyn
Bradford and Morgan Bradford both of Marietta, Ohio and a great grandson Arthur
Kelly of Georgia, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 12 noon until time of funeral
service at 2 p.m. Sunday January 5, 2025 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100
S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio with Ministers Rodney Bettinger
and John Crum officiating. Burial will
follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Graysville.

Evan Aston, 37, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at WVU
Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, W.V.
He was
born at Wheeling on September 5, 1987, a son of Joe and Della Mae Combs Hise who survive of Woodsfield.
Evan was a
member of Woodsfield Church of the Nazarene, Woodsfield. He enjoyed hunting,
working on motorcycles, 4-wheelers, spending time with his daughter and going
to church.
Surviving
in addition to his parents are a daughter, Karli Lynn Aston of New
Martinsville, W.V.; a sister, Crystal Lynn Aston of Wheeling; three brothers,
Joe (Rachelle) Hise Jr. of Sardis, Ohio; Rocky
(Julianne) Hise of St. Clairsville,
Ohio, Joshua (Summer) Hise of Woodsfield; several
uncles, Tom Aston, Jessie Combs, Johnny Combs; an aunt, Nancy Stephens; several
nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Johnny” Baker, 93, of Lewisville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at
his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was
born near Lewisville, Ohio, on August 8, 1931, a son of the late Charles and
Mary Mallett Baker.
In 1958
John founded Baker and Sons Equipment, Lewisville, where he still served as
CEO; a member of Stafford United Methodist Church, Stafford, Ohio; a U.S. Army
veteran of the Korean Conflict; a 75 year member of Stafford Lodge 300
F.&A.M.; member of the American Legion Post 87 and VFW Post 5303 both of
Woodsfield, Ohio; a member of the Aladdin Shrine Temple, Columbus, Ohio;
founding member of the Lewisville Volunteer Fire Department; a member of the
Friendship Cemetery Board; former president of Farm and Power Equipment Dealers
Association; member of the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce and was awarded
the 2015 Citizen of the Year; was also honored and awarded the 2024 Chaddock Philanthropists award for giving; honorary member
of the Monroe County Fair Board; Massey Ferguson United States Dealers Council;
was instrumental in establishing the Foundation of Scholarships in Monroe
County; an avid fan of the former Skyvue Hawks and
avid fan of the Monroe Central Seminoles. John was also instrumental in the
building of the new fire house in Lewisville, Ohio and doing other projects in
the county.
In addition
to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. Ackerman Baker on
February 7, 2022; a son, Gregory Scott Baker on November 20, 2011, and a
sister, Jean Gilmore.
Surviving
are one daughter, Rhonda (Kevin) Marshall of Lewisville; one son, Steve Baker
and his companion Vickie Kindle of Graysville, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Chris
Baker of Lewisville; five grandchildren, Chad Baker and his companion, Ashley Armann, Nikki (Jeremy) Lude, Cody (Josh) Booher, Scott Marshall, Casey (Gus) Lohrey;
11 great-grandchildren, Brayden Brantley and Brissa
Baker; Harper, Jack and Sadie Booher; Greer and Blain
Lude; Mia, Maylee, and Slade Lohrey.
Friends

from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025, where funeral services will be

Margaret
(Peg) Lois Street Beymer, 87, of Woodsfield, Ohio,
passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side Tuesday February
25, 2025. She was born December 12, 1937, in St. Clairsville,
Ohio, a daughter of the late Julian and Elva (Humphrey) Street.
Peg
retired from Wesbanco Bank, which was originally
First National Bank of Barnesville. She worked at Sears Catalog store many years
ago under the employment of Frank and Jeanne Buckio.
Peg was a member of Garden Club and Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed playing
cards each month for over 50 years with numerous friends. Peg loved spending
the winter months in Florida with her husband Richard.
In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Eunice Paulick and Catherine Zachar, and
her brother, Lewis Street.
Peg is
survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard, whom she married on May 25, 1957,
children, Leigh Ann Richard, Keith (Renee) Beymer,

Blackstone, 85, of Lewisville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, at her
home. She was born in Flushing, Ohio, May 10, 1939, a daughter of the late
Leonard and Estelle Morris Lendon.
Cora
enjoyed taking care of the elderly and had run the Lewisville Boarding Home in
Lewisville for four years. She enjoyed canning, loved spending time with her
family and was a big Elvis fan.
In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vernon
Blackstone, son, Ronald Blackstone, grandsons Clifford Blackstone, and Michael
Vinson.
She is
survived by sons Joe Blackstone of Summerfield, Thomas Blackstone of Powhatan
Point, Kenneth (Belva) Blackstone of Lewisville, and
Bruce (Louise) Blackstone of Lewisville, daughters Judy (Henry) Vinson of
Powhatan Point, and Teresa (Samuel) Scarberry of Elm Grove, two sisters, Betty Matson of Buckeye Lake and

Renee Bowdish, 65, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away
Monday, January 27, 2025, at Arbors at Woodsfield. She was born at Homestead
AFB, Fla., February 25, 1959, a daughter of the late Joanne Warnell
Bowdish Necula and Roger
Gordon Bowdish. She was coparented
by Donna M. Bowdish and the late Nick Necula.
Marcie
passed after a courageous battle with cancer for the last 10 months with her
beloved companion Terry Terwilliger never leaving her
side. Also, special thanks go to Stonerise Hospice
and the staff at Arbors at Woodsfield for their loving care of Marcie.
Marcie
always lived life to the fullest, on her own terms. Through her learning years
she was a CNA, a hotel hospitality worker, a bartender, a landscaper, and even
sold local produce from her garden.
I call
upon all survivors to remember Marcie with a smile and prayer, “when you know
better you do better” and she finally did. There are lots of wonderful memories
filled with laughter, kindness, home cooking and her better days of being a
loving wife, mother, sister, friend and aunt.
She is
survived by daughters Catrina Coon and Samantha Pellerin
(Taylor), grandchildren Everett, Sawyer, Graham, and Estelle, coparent/mother Donna M Bowdish,
companion Terry Terwilleger, brothers Randall Bowdish (Julie), Brett Bowdish

relatives that meant so much to her, Bryant, Melanie, and T.J., the many nieces
and nephews that she loved, special friends Robin, Cricket, Kerry, and the
Veterans in Woodsfield at the local club.

Shelva J. Briggs,
81, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at her home. She
was born July 22, 1943, a daughter of the late Harry and Alice Cline Truax.
Shelva was a 1961 graduate of Woodsfield High School. She
went on to receive her RN,CEN in nursing. She worked
at Barnesville Hospital for over 50 years and after retirement had served on
the Monroe County Board of Health. She had also participated in Operation Smile
in Managua, Nicaragua. Shelva also loved sewing and
shared that love with family and friends, giving them many handmade pillows
over the years.
In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles
(Chuck) Everett Briggs 2006, and brother, Daniel L. Truax.
She is
survived by her children; Chris (Diana) Briggs of Pickerington, Ohio, Chad
Briggs of New Concord, Ohio, Kay (Bryan) Mellott of
Clarington, Ohio, and Stacey (Jim) Lehman of Powhatan Point, Ohio, brother;
Richard Truax of Jackson, Ohio, grandchildren Derek, Tiffanee (Josh), Mitchell, Madison, Emma, Cooper, and
Blair, two great-grandchildren; Jackson, and Kimber, and several nieces and

surrounded by her family. She was born at Cameron, W.V., June 3, 1945, a
daughter of the late Rex and Hazel Buzzard Woodruff.
She was a
member of Unity Baptist Church, Antioch, Ohio, and attended Jerusalem Community
Church. Connie married Clarence Edward Brown October 25, 1964.
In addition
to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Edward “Ed”
Brown who she married October 25, 1964, and her siblings William Ray, Dorothy,
Eldora, Norma, and John.
She is
survived by two sons, Michael (Amy) Brown of Antioch and Jeff (Kathy) Brown of
Graysville, Ohio, four grandchildren Tucker (Chelsie) Brown, Trevor (Jenna)
Brown, and Tanner Brown, and Macy (Dustin) Schilling, four great-grandchildren,
the joy of her life, Presley Sue Brown, Gentry Rae Brown, Baren

Donald D. Brown, 82, of Graysville, Ohio
passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Ohio State East Hospital,
Columbus, Ohio.
He was born at Stafford, Ohio on May 12, 1942,
a son of the late Clyde and Stella Thompson Brown.
Don was a retired laborer of the former Ormet Corporation, Hannibal, Ohio; former Mayor of
Graysville, Ohio; a former employee of Frontier Construction, Marietta, Ohio
and was a former well tender for Hercher Oil and a
former employee of Christmans Quarry.
He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge
Church of Christ, Graysville, Ohio; a member of the Ormet
Retirees Group; a founding member of the Graysville & Community Volunteer
Fire Department; a founding member of the Bethel-Graysville EMS; a trustee for
the Washington County Co-Op and was a former member of the Antioch EMS.
Don was an avid O.S.U. and Steelers fan.
He also enjoyed hunting in his spare time. He was a former coach for Strata Slow
Pitch softball in Graysville, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by four sisters, Katherine Hanlon, Ora Wallace, Mary Bartlett
and Alice Sercich; four brothers, Twin Ronald Brown,
Robert Brown, William “Billy” Brown and Melvin Brown.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Wise Brown
whom he married on September 15, 1962; one son, Russell (Melissa) Brown of
Graysville, Ohio; three daughters, Cheryl Brown of Marietta, Ohio, Barbara
(Danni Hieles) Brown of Galloway, Ohio, April Brown
of Dublin, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jessica Batt, Meryl Hadlock,

daughter of the late Eleanor Jean Butler Crawford.
She was a former aide at the Arbors of Woodsfield for 22
years.
Leila enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.
Surviving are her significant other, Don Huntsman of Beallsville,
Ohio; two sons, Jason Huntsman (companion, Amber Lee) of Woodsfield, Ohio,
Matthew Huntsman of Woodsfield, Ohio; two sisters, Betty Anderson of Caldwell,
Ohio and Jeanie Guy of Barnesville, Ohio; two brothers, Jimmy (April) Mercer,
Johnny Brown; and four grandchildren, Tyler, Graycee,
Noah and Nathaniel Huntsman.

Ohio.
She was born at Caldwell, Ohio on July 11, 1949 a daughter
of the late Myrl and Patricia Moore Ruble.
She was a homemaker and was a Protestant by faith.
Nancy enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a
grandson, Trent Carpenter.
Surviving are her husband, Franklin Carpenter Sr. whom she
married on April 12, 1969; two daughters, Sherrie (Dean) Bickford of Cambridge,
Ohio and Amanda (Kenneth) Harris of Byesville, Ohio; two sons, Franklin
Carpenter Jr. of Bethesda, Ohio, Rodney (Bobbi) Carpenter of Barnesville, Ohio;
eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and one on the way.

George W.
Cook, 98, of Woodsfield, Ohio, (formerly of Hackney, Ohio) passed away Tuesday,
March 4, 2025, at the Arbors of Woodsfield.
He was
born at Boone, N.C., on May 12, 1926, a son of the late William J. Cook and
Mollie Vandyke Cook.
George was
a retired heavy equipment operator and was a member of United Mine Workers. He
had operated the biggest drag line and ran the “Big Muskie”. He was a U.S. Navy
veteran serving his country during W.W. II; a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic
Lodge, Beverly, Ohio, and attended First United Methodist Church, Woodsfield.
He was also an avid deer hunter and fisherman.
In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Cook,
on May 22, 2020; a brother, Dayton Cook and a sister, Harlena
Hayes.
Surviving

Coplan, 96, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away
Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Arbors at Woodsfield. She was born December
25, 1928, in Sardis, Ohio, a daughter of the late Raymond Straight and Marie
Matthias Straight.
She was a
member of Laings Church of Christ.
In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Paul
Faber, daughter Phyllis Faber, second husband William Coplan,
sisters Margaret Mae Winland and Rosalee
Straight, son-in-law Darrell Landefeld.
She is
survived by her daughters Beverly Landefeld of
Woodsfield and Joyce Faber of Bridgeport, grandchildren Derrick (Beth) Landefeld, Jennifer Landefeld,
Alicia Kasper, Bethany Kasper, and Dr. Ryan (Jillian) Kasper,
great-grandchildren Dylan Landefeld, Drew Landefeld, Ellianne Landefeld, Dane Landefeld, Davin Landefeld, Seth Scott, Stephen Scott, and Gavin Kasper.

Katherine
I. Crock, 69, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, at her home surrounded
by her loving family – the way she lived, always wanting to be with those who
mattered most. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, nana, and friend whose
kindness, creativity, and adventurous spirit touched the lives of everyone she
knew.
Kathy is survived
by her beloved husband, Ed Crock, her faithful companion and travel partner.
Together, they shared many incredible journeys, creating memories that will be
cherished forever. Kathy is also survived by her loving children: Ray Smithberger (Vesi Bikova and son Albert), Ranae
Hamilton (Whitney), Stephanie Crock, Jeannette Feldner
(Jason), Brandon Crock (Allison), Janelle Given (Jason), and Ryan Crock (Abby).
Kathy’s
precious 16 grandchildren were a constant source of joy for her and she is
survived by Brendan Saling, Dr. Makayla Heil (Lane), Morgan Smithberger,
Raegan Feldner (Brady Jacobs Bell), Hope Saling, Zoey Crock, Elise Hamilton, Carly Smithberger, Jacob Feldner, Ethan
Crock, Macy Crock, Jillian Given, Jacy Crock, Grant
Hamilton, Camy Crock, and Lilly Feldner.
Kathy is
also survived by her mother, Irene Clift and sisters
Christina Ward (Dennis), Jeanine Colvin (David), sister-in-law Diane Clift and
many nieces and nephews.
Kathy was
preceded in death by her father William (Bill) Clift and brother
Billy Clift.
Kathy had
a deep love for crafting, particularly quilting, sewing, crocheting, and
knitting. Her creations will forever be cherished as personal keepsakes by her
family. She was also passionate about traveling, always seeking new experiences
with Ed by her side, exploring new places and making lasting memories which
included many adventures around the world showcasing Crock Custom Trucks.
Beyond her
hobbies, Kathy was a committed and active member of her community. She served
as a youth leader for over 40 years in her church, a Girl Scout leader, and
cheerleading advisor, fostering faith, leadership and character in future
generations. Kathy was a director for Mary Kay, a Master Gardener and a member
of organizations such as Business and Professional Women’s (BPW) group and
Eastern Star. She contributed her time and expertise on the Noble County
Airport Board and attended Lebanon Global Church.
Friends
and family are invited to gather for a celebration of Kathy’s life and to honor
the beautiful person she was. Visitation will take place on Thursday, February
27, 2025, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service,
609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Friday,
February 28, 2025, at 1 p.m. in Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Brad Peoples
officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.

Crum, 66, of Woodsfield, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at Wetzel
County Hospital, New Martinsville, W.V.
He was
born at Inez, Ky., on September 1, 1958, a son of the late Willie and Goldie
Young Crum.
Cecil was
a former construction worker. He enjoyed woodworking and thrift shopping.
In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Norma
Harrison, Opal Dalton, Joyce Henderson and Linda Peniz;
four brothers, John Hickman, Paul Crum, Larry Crum and Thorton
Crum.
Surviving
are his wife, Penni Roe Crum, whom he married on June
28, 2001; one daughter, Samantha Crum of Woodsfield; one son, Jonathan Crum of
Woodsfield; one sister, Thelma Whitt of Campbellsville, Ky.; several nieces and
nephews.
Friends

Kayleigh Jade Dalrymple, age 14, of Chillicothe, Illinois passed away Friday, January 17, 2025
at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois as the result of an
automobile accident.
Kayleigh was born April 16, 2010 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a
daughter of Michael D. Dalrymple and Jessica D. Shrewsbury.
Kayleigh was a freshman at Illinois Valley Central High
School in Chillicothe. She enjoyed life
and spending time with her friends. Her
siblings were her world and every moment she spent with them was
cherished. She was
loving, caring, free-spirited and enjoyed being outdoors. Kayleigh was true to herself and was not
afraid to speak her mind.
Surviving are her father, Michael, of Summerfield, Ohio and
her mother, Jessica (Matthew Pilkington), of Chillicothe, Illinois; her
siblings, Dillon Dalrymple of Chillicothe, Illinois, Makenzie Dalrymple of
Woodsfield, Ohio, Nathaniel Huntsman of Ozark, Ohio, Noah Huntsman of Ozark,
Ohio, Kynnlee Dalrymple of Woodsfield, Ohio, Khloe
Dalrymple of Woodsfield, Ohio, Maycee Dalrymple of
Canton, Ohio and Shaelyn Dalrymple of Summerfield,
Ohio; her grandparents, Rose Seyferth (Ray
Pilkington), Robert (Misty) Shrewsbury, Sandra Rose Dalrymple and Sheila
Brooks; several aunts and uncles, Josh (Danielle) Shrewsbury, Chris Shrewsbury,
Justice Shrewsbury, Alexis (Dakota) Sampson, Courtney (Chris) Smathers, Kristina (Casey) Lucas, and Lesley (Josh) Smith;
also many cousins. Also surviving is Kayleigh's great-aunt, Lisa Nalley, who helped raise her. Kaleigh was preceded in death by her
grandfather, Harry Dalrymple,
and her great-uncle, Victor Mercer.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 27 at Wilson
Funeral Home – Harper Chapel, Beallsville, Ohio from 12noon until the time of
her funeral service at 3pm with Wayne Clark officiating. Cremation will take
place following the service.

He was
born January 3, 1951, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Lenzy
and Eula (Isaly) Darrah Jr.
Glenn was
a retired safety technician for CDI and a member of St. Johns United Church of
Christ, Powhatan Point, Ohio, and Masonic Lodge # 597 F & AM Clarington,
Ohio. Glenn was a nature lover, liked feeding the deer and watching the birds.
In
addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Darrah.
He is
survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathie Schnegg Darrah; a brother, Roger (Susan) Darrah
of Clarington; niece and nephews, Ryan (Rebecca) Darrah,
Teresa (Tom) Crane, Casey Dietrich, Keith (Tina) Dietrich, Derek Dietrich, Jeff
(Valerie) Dietrich; and great-nieces and -nephews, Evan and Olivia Darrah, Owen and Maggie Crane, Jacey, Alice, Isaac, Eve,
Zackary and Ethan Dietrich.
A
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Linda Marie Schmidt Dornon, 60,
passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 at her home near Jerusalem, Ohio. She was born February 26, 1964 in Graceville,
Minnesota.
Linda was a retired employee of the Urbana City Schools and
she was a member of the Beallsville American Legion Auxiliary #768. She enjoyed watching movies and Football
(especially the Minnesota Vikings), and playing on her laptop; Linda also
enjoyed playing Bingo and cards. She
loved to travel and one of her favorite vacation destinations was Florida
during the Winter months.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years, John,
who she married on April 28, 1984; a son, Ethan; a daughter, Mellisa (Joe) Gerards;
grandchildren, Josh, Logan, Samaria, and Mikala; a great-grandson, Melvin
Joseph; siblings, Alice Richardson, Edward Angerhofer,
Mike Lemster, Nancy Asmussen,
Lisa Schmidt, and Brenda Riggin; her mother-in-law,
Glenna Dornon; sisters-in-law, Deb (Bill) Wain and
Vickie Dornon (Mike Datkuliak);
brothers-in-law, Walter (Barbara) Dornon and Donald
(Kathy) Dornon; also many nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Martin
and Elda Hamann Schmidt; her biological parents,
Martin Angerhofer and Audrey Winterowd;
siblings, Victor Angerhofer, Allen Angerhofer, Geraldine Schmeichel,
Stanley Angerhofer, Pauline Angerhofer;
a half-brother, Brian Winterowd; her father-in-law,
Walter Nelson Dornon; a brother-in-law, Orville
Richardson; sisters-in-law, Shirley Angerhofer and
Susan Dornon.
Honoring Linda's wishes, cremation will take place and a
memorial gathering concluding with a memorial service will be held for family
and friends at the Wilson Funeral Home - Harper Chapel, Beallsville on
Saturday, February 22 from 11am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, the family asks that
memorial contributions be made to one of Linda’s favorite organizations,
Beallsville American Legion Auxiliary #768, 52651 Broad Street Beallsville,
Ohio 43716 and designated for Buckeye Girls State.

Timothy Scott Durham 61, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away on
Sunday, March 2, 2025, with his loved ones at his side. He was born on March
27, 1963, in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Donald E. and Joan M. (Holmes) Durham,
Tim was a cherished husband, father, and papaw.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Janet Durham; his
two sons, Jordan Durham, and Michael Durham; and his step-daughters, Lakota
(Kyrie) Speakman, Casey Pickenpaugh, and Lynsey
Schumacher. Tim was also a brother to Becky (Steve) Duelley,
Tom (Debbie) Durham, Beth Durham, and the late Terry (Kathryn) Durham.
Tim was a proud Papaw to his granddaughter, Madelyn Rose
Durham and grandson Mac Schumacher.
Tim was a 1981 graduate of Wellington High School and honorably
served his country as a U.S. Army veteran. He dedicated 35 years of his life as
a correctional officer in the Ohio prison system.
Tim enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the wildlife, the
night sky, and spending time with his family, but he loved his role as Papaw
the most.
Private services will be held, and it’s the family’s wish
for those who knew and loved Tim to cherish their memories and hold them in
their hearts.
