Ohio; 6 Nov 2015
Robert
Edward (Cline) Edington, born April 3, 1932, passed away in the early morning
hours of the 5th of November at his home In Woodsfield. The son of Bessie
(Byers) and Boyd Cline, he was born in Mechanicsburg, Ohio and, as an infant,
moved to Wewoka, Oklahoma. Following the sudden death of this father, five-year
old Bob and his mother returned to Monroe County. He attended first and second
grade in Brownsville and, in 1941, moved to Canton, Ohio. In 1944, his family
returned to Monroe County where he graduated from Woodsfield High School in
1950. Following graduation, Bob travelled to Cleveland to attend Finn College.
In
March, 1952, Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force where he eventually
obtained the rank of Staff Sergeant. As a GS 7 instructor in jets and technical

freemason artifacts. And as a member of Osiris Shrine Temple, he often provided
transportation to little patients and their families to the Shriners Hospitals
for Children in Cincinnati (for burn care) and Erie (for orthopedics)
As a
member of the First United Methodist Church in Woodsfield, Bob, along with Esther,
taught Sunday school and he was Lay Leader and a member of the Pastor-Parish
Relations committee. For many years, Bob was an officer and Board member of the
Ormet (Ohio Valley Community) Credit Union and he and Esther enjoyed developing

CONRAD
"GENE" GREEN
On June 26, 2016, Conrad
"Gene" Green passed away peacefully at home after a long illness.
Born in 1932 in West Virginia, he joined the military at 17 and went to the
Korean War. He was career Air Force, serving 27 years before retiring as a
Senior Master Sergeant to Santa Fe, New Mexico. To his wife Marybelle and
daughters Susan, Theresa and Marina, he gave the gift of the world, living in
Guam, Turkey, and Okinawa, in addition to several states. Gene was an
easygoing, unpretentious man who made friends everywhere and easily. Even in
hospital and hospice, he was valued for his optimism and sense of humor. His
favorite times, however, were in the mountains, fishing and camping wherever he
lived. To his family, Gene gave the gift of a love for nature: the quiet of the
mountains, a stream, or a lake. Knowing he was dying, his last wish was a final
day trip to Hopewell Lake. Daughters Susan and Marina gave him that wish,
giving him the chance to say goodby to one of his favorite places in Northern
New Mexico.
Gene is preceded in death by his wife
Marybelle and daughter Theresa. He is survived by daughters Susan Dorman and
Marina Patton; nine grandchildren - Jenny and Aaron; Amy, Josh and Chris; and
Heather, Amanda, Natalie and Dustin; four great-grandchildren - Lily, Carlos,
Eleanor, and Evelyn; son-in-law James Schutz and sister-in-law Paula Brumley.
He also leaves behind many friends throughout New Mexico. Gene's legacy of
optimism, humor, independence, and love of nature remains with all who knew
him.
There will be a private family
ceremony. If you wish to honor him, go fishing.
